Introduction to our new all-round beauty therapist Emilija Stulgyte

By hiring Emilija, Christiaan has brought an all-rounder on board. Or rather, into the spa. Since March 2021, she has strengthened the team: “People come to me for various treatments, such as full body waxing, manicures and pedicures, massages, and brow & lash treatments. I have been working in the beauty industry for about eight years under top mentors.”

Shared vision

Where Emilija started as a nail stylist after graduating, she has since completed many courses and gained practical experience. Now, she is an all-rounder in everything related to beauty: “At the moment, I am also working on adding facial treatments to my expertise. Christiaan works with the brand [ comfort zone ], a line of products packed with natural ingredients. I attend masterclasses via Zoom, and when practical lessons are available, I can also provide facial treatments in the salon. I really appreciate Christiaan’s vision regarding sustainability and the use of ‘green’ products.”

Complete range in beauty

Emilija continues to develop herself by learning new techniques and methods: “This way, I grow as a professional and can meet the demand for a complete range of services.” The spa area at Christiaan is fully focused on balance and recovery. The treatments, products, and spaces offer the tranquility that many people are looking for. Clients come for a waxing appointment, spa manicure and pedicure, lash lifts and brow shaping, or book a wonderful massage: “Every client receives a personal treatment, tailored to their wishes. The time they spend in the salon is truly focused on the individual. My work is very fulfilling, knowing that people feel better after a treatment.”

Passions outside of work

The moment Emilija walked into the salon, she knew Christiaan was a place where she could practice her expertise: “The location of the salon is ideal and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I know the product lines, and with my all-round profile, I am a great addition to the team.” Outside of work, Emilija enjoys being with friends and books: “I love reading and meeting up with friends. The corona pandemic caused delays, and I missed the contact with clients. Being with people gives me an instant energy boost. Rotterdam is a city that has so much to offer. I feel completely at home in the metropolis and at Christiaan.”
